Shaheer on planning to cook for Ruchikaa in Eid & other plans of celebrating it

Today is the auspicious day of Eid 2021 and everyone is celebrating the festival in their own way given especially how one and all are confined to their homes owing to the pandemic.

When it comes to actor Shaheer Sheikh, it is his first Eid as a married man where he is celebrating the festival with wife Ruchikaa Kapoor. Also away from his family, Sheikh talked about it with ETimes TV as he said, "My parents got to see chaand a day before and therefore I already wished them Eid a day prior. I am missing my parents a lot and specially during Eid. These are tough times for all, and we don't plan to have any celebration at home. I am just hoping for everyone's safety and praying that the pandemic gets over."

Then he talked about how hes planning to celebrate it with wife, he said, "Well, I plan to cook a special dish for her. I can't prepare biryani but I can definitely make sheer khurma for her. In the past few years of my living in Mumbai, I have learnt how to cook simple dishes. Eid will be about doing simple yet special things for my wife and spending quality time with each other and talking to our family in Jammu."
