Shah Rukh Khan has been on a hunt for his next and it has to impress his fans to clear the backlog of his previous films which were a massive failure at the box-office and a major blow to his reputation as well. It seems he did manage to hold on to his massive fan-following with sheer goodwill and superstar image, however that wouldn’t last for a long time.
Fans are running out of patience as Khan had promised during his 54th birthday - he would soon announce his project. But, the fans went out of patience and the hashtag #WeWantAnnouncementSRK started trending, on Twitter. It seems to be the right time for King Khan to announce his next.
While several reports hinted at him opting for a fresh story, the reports in Pinkvilla suggested that Shah Rukh has bought the rights to the Hindi remake of the Korean film 'A Hard Day'.
Red Chillies recently bought the rights to 'A Hard Day' at a reportedly good price. The reports also mentioned that If things work out well then Shah Rukh Khan might go ahead with the project, at least as the producer of the film.
The report quoted a source saying, "Shah Rukh and his team really loved watching the Korean thriller A Hard Day. So much so that he got his team to buy the Hindi adaptation rights for the film at a good price. If all goes well, his production house Red Chillies Entertainment will be making the film soon."
However, fans have been eager to see their favorite Khan on screen and not on the chair. But owing to his previous release - Zero (2018). Will Shah Rukh have the heart to take the risk?
The Korean film 'A Hard Day' was the story about a homicide detective who accidentally kills a man with his car and tries to hide his body with his mother's on the day of her funeral.
