As a legendary actor, Shah Rukh Khan is known for playing iconic roles. Chak De India, a patriotic film released in 2007, attracted a different audience than his other roles and blockbusters. Chak De India celebrated its 14th anniversary on August 10th, and SRK took the time to thank the entire team.
The Jab Harry Met Sejal actor shared a hazy selfie with his stubble and a blue and black hoodie on Instagram. Shah Rukh thanked his entire girl gang in the caption of his Instagram post for their contributions to making the film a beautiful experience.
He also expressed his gratitude to the makers as he wrote “Just felt like thanking all the young ladies of Chak De India for making the film such a beautiful experience. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan portrayed Kabir Khan, the coach of the Indian women's hockey team. He continues to reign supreme after winning millions of hearts with his appearance in the film.
In fact, after the Indian team stormed into the Tokyo Olympics 2020 semi-finals, netizens compared coach Sjoerd Marijine to SRK's character Kabir Khan's which became a trending topic on Twitter.
