Shah Rukh Khan has bagged the rights of turning Popular Series Money Heist into a Hindi Film!

The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan is one of those actors who enjoy a very dedicated fan following. The 53 year old superstar has never failed to leave his fans delighted with his performance in the showbiz. Apart from films, his notable charm and kindness towards other actors and fans make him the kind of success he is today. SRK’s last film, Zero, that also starred Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma was a miss at the box office, post which the actor has been missing from the big screen. His fans are eagerly waiting to see him make a comeback and they even made #WeMissSRKOnBigScreen trending on Twitter.

Recently, there were speculations that the actor is in talks with Rajkumar Hirani and Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his next film but there has been no confirmation regarding the same.

However, to finally mark an end to the wait of SRK’s fans, here's good news! After the Sujoy Ghosh directorial, Badla, which features Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Amrita Singh- which is an adaptation of Spanish thriller, Invisible Guest, his production house has next  bagged the rights of the popular Spanish show, Money Heist. The show is currently in its third season. 

"Shah Rukh Khan was introduced to Money Heist by one of his partners. He loves the show and believes it can be adapted in the Indian context as a feature film,” quoted Mumbai Mirror. 

The source further spilled some beans about the project and whether Shah Rukh will be acting in the film as well. The source informed the daily that the cast will be decided based on the script. “There is no clarity on Shah Rukh Khan’s involvement as an actor. At this point of time, he is only producing it. SRK has always been open to involving other actors in his production ventures." The report also stated that a team of writers is already in place for the scripting.

Money Heist streams on Netflix and revolves around a mysterious man who calls himself 'The Professor' and recruits eight career criminals. In an abandoned house, he trains them for five months to steal 2.4 billion Euros from a bank.
