It’s been 29-years since Shah Rukh Khan arrived in Bollywood and gave the industry some of the biggest superhit films ever. He made his debut with the film Deewana in, 1992 and the rest is history!
As the actor celebrates his glorious years in Bollywood on Friday, his fans started trending ‘#29YearsOfSRK’ on Twitter and to everyone’s surprise, he conducted an Ask Me Anything session, during which he fielded a number of questions.
Flooded with questions ranging from when is his next release and so on, the actor has once again given a taste of his sense of humour.
One fan asked him if he was ‘berozgaar (unemployed)’. “App bhi Berozgaar ho gaye kya sir.. Hamari trah (Sir, are you also unemployed now, like the rest of us?),” the fan asked, to which Shah Rukh gave a witty and equally cryptic response: “Jo kuch nahi karte….woh (Those who don’t do anything, they)…”
Replying to his fan with a witty and cryptic response Shah Rukh said, “Right now with the situation I think it’s prudent to make film release schedules with a bit of patience.”
The ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ actor will soon make his acting comeback with Siddharth Anand’s action drama Pathan, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The film is yet to be officially announced.
SRK concluded his Ask Me Anything session, as he wrote, “Now need to get back to the rains….love you all and thanks for all the wishes and #AskSrk. As always sorry for all not getting replies….but we have a long journey together so will be in touch soon…"
The failure of Zero shocked the Shah Rukh Khan fans and they have been eager to see their favourite superstar on screen. The actor has been avoiding on-screen presence for quite some time now and the fans obviously can't wait to see him.
