Shah Rukh Khan consoles Saira Banu as she breaks down in tears: RIP Dilip Kumar

The day began with the heartbreaking news of the passing away of veteran actor Dilip Kumar. The cinematic legend breathed his last at the age of 98 and is survived by his wife, Saira Banu.

After undergoing treatment for bilateral pleural effusion, Dilip was discharged from the hospital. He was discharged after five days and was then again admitted to the Hinduja hospital after he complained of breathlessness. 

The pictures and videos from the hospital had come in wherein Saira Banu looked inconsolable after her husband’s demise. Soon after, visuals of Bollywood celebrities arriving at Dilip Kumar’s residence in Mumbai started coming in. 

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan also arrived at the late actor’s house in Bandra to pay his respects to the veteran actor.

Pictures of Shah Rukh consoling a heartbroken Saira Banu have surfaced on the Internet. The actor was seen holding the bereaved Saira Banu, who broke down in tears after her dear husband’s demise.

Other B Town celebs including Ranbir Kapoor, Dharmendra, Karan Johar, Vidya Balan among others also arrived at Dilip Kumar’s residence.

Dilip Kumar’s funeral will take place today at 5:00 PM. Juhu Qabrastan at Santacruz Mumbai. He will be laid to rest with full state honours.
