Sayantani Ghosh quits Santoshi Maa!

Being a religious show, Santoshi Maa had managed to fetch a decent amount of viewership. Based on the goddess Santoshi Maa, the show featured a lot of other gods and goddesses. Poulomi Maa (the goddess of jealousy) played by Sayantani Ghosh was one of the goddesses seen on the show.

Earlier in the day, we had reported about actress Ratan Rajput's character ending on the show. There were also rumours doing the rounds about Sayantani threatening the makers that she would quit the show. Today the actress posted on her social media account that she has quit the show. Apparently the producers and the actress have taken a mutual decision that they should part ways.

We contacted Sayantani who confirmed the same saying, "Yes, I have quit the show. Today was the last day of my shoot." She did not reveal any specific reason for the same.
