During 90's, we saw western culture taking over India by storm. Even, most
Indians preferred jeans over dhoti or saree. However, these days traditional attires are again back in trend. And guess what? We Indians have now found a new way to enjoy western and keep traditional aspect intact. We call it Indo-Western, which is fusion of Indian and Western clothing.
Earlier, lehengas were only stitched for traditional occasions like wedding ceremonies. Now, they have become quite a regular thing. With embellished crop tops or long skirts with traditional work or lehenga with jackets, designers have now revamped the traditional Indian dresses with a mix of western style.

The Naagin 3 actress Surbhi Jyoti is seen wearing a yellow fusion lehenga by Kalki Fashion. Her attire is crafted with embroidery using intricate resham floral motifs that showcase summer hues with scattered sequins. The crop top blouse flaunts her net balloon sleeves. The flared skirt with beautiful floral embellishments is enhancing her look. We totally loved her fusion look.
Karishma Tanna from Qayamat Ki Raat is looking ethereal in this black lehenga by Neetu Rohra. The dupatta is draped with a belt, adding the western touch. Teaming up with a big maangtika and a potli style purse, she completed her look.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Anita Hassanandani dolled up in a mint crystal embellished ensemble styled with a contemporary ruffle crop top. This look reminds us of Elsa from Frozen, she looks dreamy, isn't she?
Dance India Dance fame Shakti Mohan sported this gorgeous light blue lehenga by Salian by Anushree. We are awestruck by her style as she stuns in this Indo-western lehenga. The one-shoulder top styled by a half cape, resembles a traditional dupatta. The lehenga is completed with layers of frills in the bottom. She gets a thumbs-up from us!
Yogita Bihani:
The Dil Hi Toh Hai actress Yogita Bihani donned this beautiful lavender lehenga by Renne Label. The dupatta designed in frills is adding to the beauty of the attire. Yogita is completely slaying the look.
