Satish Kaushik passes away after suffering from a heart attack; Anupam Kher pays tribute
Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik left for heavenly abode at 66 in Gurugram.

What came as a shocking news to Bollywood on early Thursday morning is that of actor Satish Kaushik's sad demise. The actor passed away at the age of 66 in Gurugram. According to reports from the Indian Express, the actor passed away in the NCR following a heart attack. He apparently had a heart attack in the car while visiting someone in Gurugram when his health started to fail.
As much as we hoped this to not be true, Anupam Kher confirmed the sad demise of his bestfriend. Expressing his grief, he took to his social media accounts and posted a heartfelt note. He wrote, “I know "death is the ultimate truth of this world!" But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!"
For the unversed, Satish Kaushik was an alumnus of the National School of Drama, and Film and Television Institute of India. Anupam Kher had been his batchmate at NSD.
According to reports, the late actor's remains is currently at the Fortis hospital in Gurgaon, and will be sent to Mumbai following the postmortem.

The actor was renowned for his wife range of characters in several films. Satish ji was noted for his roles as "Calendar" in Mr. India, as Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana, and as "Chanu Ahmed" in Sarah Gavron's British film Brick Lane.
