Sasural Genda Phool 2's Shagun Sharma on birthday resolution: I just want to focus on work & achieve my goals

Shagun Sharma, who is known for her recent stint in Ishk Par Zor Nahi, has been in the news once again as the actress is gearing up for her next show, Sasural Genda Phool 2 co-starring Jay Soni. The show has quite the fan base and with the actress turning lead for the same, there have only been good wishes for her so far.

Today, as she turns a year older, she spoke to India Forums in a quick chat. About her birthday and birthday wish, she tells us, ''I just want to give myself some time and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere at home and chill after I come back from work. I just want to achieve my goals and I wish for this today as I believe it's the right time and day to butter the god. (laughs) I think age is just a number. Your positive thinking and good nature will always keep you evergreen.''

About missing her parents, she says, ''I miss them and I crave for the warmth of my parents. They are the world to me.'' About her resolution, she told us, ''I just want to focus on work and achieve my goals!''

As she is gearing up for her next show soon after her last project, she also expressed her excitement in an interview earlier and spoke about being elated to be a part of the show. Also returning with Sasural Genda Phool 2 will be a majority of the primary cast and we bet fans are excited to see how Shagun fits into this story.
