Sasural Genda Phool 2 launched with a great bang but the show failed to create buzz among the audiences. And now, according to the reports in a leading website, the show is all set to go off air.
Sasural Genda Phool 2 is all set to wrap up on April 15. The shoot will conclude by March-end. The cast of the show has been informed about this development. Confirming the news to the leading portal, Sooraj Thapar said that the show is going off-air on April 15. Also, he mentioned that they are working towards giving it a logical conclusion and added how the show will always remain close to his heart and in fact, it will be special for everyone associated with this show. He mentioned how it is definitely heartbreaking to bid it adieu prematurely.
Earlier, there were reports that Sasural Genda Phool 2 will be moving to a new time slot from 8 pm to 7.30 pm. Jay Soni, the male lead of the show, confirmed the news in an exclusive chat with the leading portal. However, there is now a change of plan for the show and the channel has decided to wind up the show with a logical end.

Log pata nahi season2 pe itna invest karte hi kyun hai...even seasons are made it should have different story and cast not copying the entire cast of previous season or names...

Lol expected .Sgp1 was one of my fav shows and i had high hopes when they said they are coming up with season 2 but was devasted when they said there will b no suhana. What were the makers thinking killing of the main catalyst of the show ? they could have replaced d actor instead of this.Suhana's character was so unique and fresh. tbh there is no character like Suhana ever made till date. will pretend season 2 as a bad dream and lets imagine Suhana ishaan had babies and are living together happily with the kashyaps.

SGP2 should have never been made. It failed to garner old fans interest the moment they realized Suhana is dead. Maybe if they had cast Ragini as Suhana's lookalike then probably people may have given a chance to the show. I really don't understand why they didn't cast Ragini as the FL again. I am glad no one liked the show.
