Sara Ali Khan's Alternate Style Of Sari Draping Is Goals!

Lately, if you are feeling a strong pull towards the classic Indian drape, thanks to the very many wedding occasions, you're not alone! The latest Bollywood debutante, Sara Ali Khan is with you. The young actress, who was slaying it real good with her fusion wear, while on the promotions of Kedarnath was spotted experimenting with the alternative style of draping. 

Take a look at how Sara is the force behind us reimagining the classic Indian drape, but half!  

Last night, for a wedding reception in the city, Sara wore a deep red half-draped saree that saw the good-old petticoat replaced with an embellished chudidaar. Sara styled the look with chaand balees and side swept curls. Her makeup was, per usual-subtle, however with a popping red for a lipstick.   

While, Deepika and Anushka have been showing the world how to rock six-yards-of-elegance in the staple way, for some the same piece of fabric has gone through a paradigm shift. Youth today very much want the Indian drape, however with a twist! She doesn't want a saree that apes all the rest while not eschewing the traditions.

Sara's Kedarnath has received mix reviews however she has got tremendous appreciation for the portrayal of Mukku in the film. Sara has already started the promotions of her upcoming film with Ranveer Singh, Simmba. The film seems is a light hearted comedy.
