Sara Ali Khan will stay away from remakes, greedier for meaty roles - reports

Actor Sara Ali Khan might be relatively new in the industry but the actor has already managed to create quite a resume. However, there has been a trend so far in her small filmography which might be fortunate or unfortunate. While having done five films, two of them have been remakes or sequels. Incidentally, both those films have been either box office flops or received immensely negative reviews.

Whether it is this reason or otherwise, but Khan has seemingly decided to stay away from remakes as of now and has chosen to focus on meatier roles. Talking to a news portal, Khan said that for her, the screen time and the role matter. Having done Aanand L Rai's Atrangi Re, the actor stated stated that she is now greedy for meatier roles and wants to do all kinds of films. 

She further added the favourite thing of her job is that she gets to do everything, be it dancing with Ranveer Singh on a high-energy song or doing an intense scene with Dhanush or doing comedy with Varun Dhawan.

She concluded by saying that she wants to work with filmmakers like Rohit Shetty and Aanand L Rai again and again. On the workfront, Khan has completed shooting for Laxman Utekar's untitled film with Vicky Kaushal.
