Sara Ali Khan is making it to the headlines for her upcoming film Love Aaj Kal which also stars Kartik Aaryan. This Imtiaz Ali directorial marks her third film in the industry since her debut in Kedarnath. Gradually, the young starlet has been making a name for herself in B-Town and the fans can’t stop admiring her.
Sara has carved a space for herself with sheer hard work and daddy Saif Ali Khan is clearly impressed by her efforts. Despite being a star kid, Sara has avoided using her celebrity card as a chance to enter Bollywood and grab films.
The actress has revealed that she feels proud to be Saif Ali Khan's daughter and hopes she will get the opportunity to prove herself in the film industry.
Honestly, I am still Saif Ali Khan's child and that will never change. It is a tag I am proud of, so if it exists, it is fine. If people like my work then it is a good thing. I hope that I get the opportunities to prove myself.- Sara Ali Khan
The budding actress has clearly mesmerized the audience but, many have consistently compared her to Janhvi Kapoor (Daughter of the late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor) and Ananya Pandey (daughter of Chunky Pandey) who are roughly the same age as Sara.
Sara is somehow irked by comparison and talking about the same, she said, "I feel all three of us are very young girls. I understand why it (the comparison) happens but to compare one person with another just doesn't make any sense.
I think three of us are very different as people, as actors and in general. So, I don't see the point in comparing. They are my contemporaries and friends of mine and I wish them the best and I hope they wish me the best for my next film, too," she said.
On the work front, Sara and Kartik’s Love Aaj Kal is set to hit the screens on Valentine's Day. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Imtiaz Ali. Meanwhile, she is also working with Varun Dhawan and they will be seen in Coolie No. 1 which is a remake of Govinda’s film which was directed by David Dhawan.
