Recently, Karan Johar shared behind the scenes from his much-awaited show. Sara and her Arangi Re co-star Dhanush were his first guests. On the show, Sara opened up about the worst criticism she got for 'Love Aaj Kal'. During the interaction, the Love Aaj Kal actress revealed that when Kamaal R Khan said that she has been exposed after Love Aaj Kal was pretty rude.

Speaking about 'Love Aaj Kal', the film also starred Kartik Aaryan in pivotal roles. The film was the sequel of Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer with the same name.

For the unversed 'Atrangi Re' will hit the big screen on December 24. The film marks Aanand L Rai’s return to direction after Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Zero' in 2018.

Also recently the 'Atrangi Re' director opened up about Sara Ali Khan saying,

“She didn’t surprise me. Because I was expecting this much. And she did brilliantly. It’s not an easy role. And performing in front of megastars like Akshay and Dhanush is not easy. But again, a very confident girl. She was ready to take up those challenges, grasp it and go for it".

When she came to me, she was low. I could see that and she told me also. But that’s my job as a filmmaker to take my actor on a flight. Bohot mazboot dikhegi yeh ladki. (She will come across very strong.)”

The film revolves around Rinku (Sara) and her lover Sajjad (Akshay), and her relationship with Vishu (Dhanush), whom she had to marry against her will.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara is also a part of Laxman Utekar untitled next with Vicky Kaushal. The stars will also team up for Aditya Dhar’s ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama.’
