Sara Ali Khan receives a sweet surprise from her best friends on her birthday; see pictures!

Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan turned a year older on Thursday and now she is celebrating her 26th birthday today. The actress received a sweet surprise from her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan and close friends Jehan Handa, Ahilya Mehta who got together for a bash at home.

Her friends even shared a few inside pictures from the birthday bash they hosted for their ‘Golden Girl’. 

Taking to his Instagram handle, Jehan reposted photos from Ahilya Mehta's post where the decor can be seen for Sara's birthday bash. The pictures feature customised balloons in Sara Ali Khan's initials and on the wall, another set of pink balloons read as 'Happy Birthday' for the Kedarnath actress.

In another photo, Ibrahim Ali Khan was seen posing with other friends at the bash. However, the glimpse of the birthday girl is yet to be seen and for the time being these photos seem to be a treat for her fans.

Interestingly, Sara’s close friend and contemporary from Bollywood - Janhvi Kapoor also took to her Instagram story and penned a heartwarming note on the Simmba actress’ birthday. Janhvi also shared an unseen picture of them, in which she could be seen posing with Sara. 

Janhvi wished her friend Sara as she wrote, "HBD @saraalikhan95. May this year be filled with the best memories, fulfilling creative journeys, great food, greater abs, and so so so much happiness, success and love. Keep spreading your extra special contagious energy that everyone loves you for!."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara Ali Khan will be seen in the Anand L Rai directorial Antrangi Re and she will be seen starring alongside Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. If we are to go by the reports, Sara is likely to be a part of The Immortal Ashwatthama as well. However, there has been no official announcement from the makers yet.
