Sara Ali Khan leaves The Collective to join Bunty Sajdeh and Karan Johar's DCA
Reportedly, actress Sara Ali Khan called it quits with 'The Collective' as she joined Karan Johar's Dharma Cornerstone Agency.
Those who know about actress Sara Ali Khan would also know that the actress made her acting debut with the Abhishek Kapoor directed Kedarnath. KWAN has been her manager since since she made her debut (Now, The Collective).
According to Pinkvilla, Sara will be quitting her five-year relationship with The Collective. Sara enjoyed her time with The Collective, but the two have mutually agreed to part ways in order to improve their chances for the future. With the DCA - Dharma Cornerstone Agency, which is run by Karan Johar and Bunty Sajdeh, Sara has now signed an exclusive contract. Well now the paperwork is completed, and Dharma will now manage Sara Ali Khan's films, web series, and brands solely, according to a source familiar with the situation.
For the unversed, Tiger Shroff also left The Collective earlier in November and joined Dharma Cornerstone Agency in search of bigger opportunities. Ranveer Singh, however, amicably left Yash Raj Films that same month to join The Collective, which is currently working exclusively to build a brand out of Ranveer. After the epidemic, actors engaged in a reorganisation strategy, which resulted in changes to the management teams.
While DCA at present is managing actors like Ananya Panday, Tammanaah Bhatia, Tripti Dimri, Tiger Shroff, and Vijay Deverakonda among others. Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming films include the Dinesh Vijan Production, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke co-starring Vicky Kaushal and the Ramesh Taurani production, Gaslight with Vikrant Massey. While release date of both films are yet unannounced, we hear they might take a direct to digital route. Sara is also a part of the Karan Johar production, Ae Watan Mere Watan, which is set against the backdrop of All India Radio program.
