Saqib Saleem: It breaks my heart to see Bollywood's credibility being questioned

Actor Saqib Saleem just delivered an impressive performance in Voot Select's espionage thriller Crackdown.  The web series also features an ensemble cast including Iqbal Khan, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rajesh Tailang, Waluscha De Sousa and Ankur Bhatia.

We got in a conversation with Saqib where he talked about his prep for the character, the physical transformation he underwent and more.

When asked him about the recent remarks made against the Bollywood industry, Saqib stated that his experience in the industry has been 'nothing but extraordinary'.

Saqib tells us, "I'm a Delhi boy, I came here without knowing anyone and today I'm working here, doing work every year so it's a very good place. When I read and see things being said about the industry, it breaks my heart because this is my livelihood. It breaks my heart to see people questioning the credibility of the industry. The industry had been very lovely and welcoming to me."

"As the media terms it, I'm an outsider and I did not know anyone in the industry. But this industry has accepted me and I have no complaints" he adds.
