Sanjivani Update: Surbhi Chandna- Namit Khanna’s characters revealed!

Ekta Kapoor started the trend of bringing back cult old shows in new version with Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Well, the latest show to join the bandwagon will be highly popular Medical drama Sanjivani. The news of Sanjivani coming back on TV has got everyone excited for it as it was one of the most popular shows of it’s time. As reported earlier, Gurdeep Kohli and Mohnish Bahl who were also part of the original show will be seen spreading their charm this time too. Apart from them Sayantani Ghosh and Sudhanshu Pandey have also been roped in to play important parts. Well, if you’re wondering who will play the leads, it’s none other than Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna.

According to some media reports, Surbhi will play an introvert Punjabi girl with the agenda to prove her parents innocent. While, Namit will play a vivacious and energetic surgeon. Initially Surbhi and Namit’s characters will hate each other, but gradually will fall in love. Reports also suggest that the cast will start shooting next week.

The original show had a stellar cast with actors like Mohnish Bahl, Gurdeep Kohli, Rupali Ganguly, Mihir Mishra and Arjun Punj. The show was such a big hit that the makers made season 2 of the show tited Dill Mill Gayye starring Karan Singh Grover, Jennifer Winget, Drashti Dhami and Karan Wahi, which was equally popular among youth.
