Sanjay Surkar, the four time National Award winning Director of critically acclaimed Marathi movies turns Producer on television with a show on Star One titled 'Dhoondh Legi Manzil Hume. The show has a political backdrop and will trace the journey of a today's girl Alka who has a vision of bringing in a new outlook to the political system, and how emotions and relationships change her life!!

Sanjay Surkar who recently directed the critically acclaimed show on Zee TV, Aapki Antara has roped in veteran actors Mohan Joshi and Madhvi Gokhte to play the girl's parents.

The show produced by Sanjay Surkar's Sarvam Communications has Shiv Subramaniam of Parinda fame writing the screenplay.

Our source tells us, "New face Sara Khan (not of Bidaai fame) will play the female lead Alka. She is a simple girl who comes back home after studying abroad. Mohan Joshi who plays her father, a political leader drags her into the game of politics. New face Deepak Wadhwa plays brother to Alka who is also involved in the family politics. Madhvi Gokhte who is presently seen in Imagine's Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo plays Mohan Joshi's wife".

"Deepali Pansare who played mother to Devi in the Imagine show gets to play her age in this show. She will be seen as the love interest of Abhishek, played by Deepak Wadhwa. New faces Yashwant and Khalid will play the leads in the show", informs our source.

Producer Sanjay Surkar confirmed the news on TellyBuzz, and said "The show Dhoondh Legi Manzil Hume is based on a political backdrop but will also have a love story too, and will focus on the manner in which relationships get spoilt amidst the political mindset".

Madhvi Gokhte confirmed her presence in the show and said, "Yes, I am playing a typical housewife, and am the wife of Mohan Joshi. I will be starting shoot soon".

Deepali Pansare told us, "Talks are on. But nothing is finalized yet".

The promo of the show is already on air.. The shoot of the show will start in few days time at Pune. The show is expected to launch sometime in the third week of November. It will be a daily at a prime time slot.

it is any thing but a ghareluu serial...how can u call a political drama gharelu...it's a extremly sensible serial...with a splendid caste...and splendid script...it's a serial from which u can relate to....in real life tell me....how many of the boyfriends plan a candelight ...curtains and rose shower...who does it?....for a change we have a normal couple of alka and chander who are so real...they don't give each other roses wen they meet...but are there for each other......nothin wrong in being mjht fan....but let's give diffrent serial a chance too....once you see it by all heart ...you will be hooked to it....

This show is yuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.Don't dare to replace mileyjabhumtum.Replace that boring and bakwas and baksurat odhani not MJHT,if not i quit starone.Telecast this show on starplus or sony better.It's gonna be huge flopp bcoz all mjht fans quit starone.

RBO is the only show on Starone with a sensible story.MJHT needs to go,its high time.And agree with Chandz Susu ruined the AN track by turning it into comedy.This show looks maha boring BTW.

i m very happy dat susu is back on starone...she is amazing actor...n chandani she dint ruin AN track...dont forget she was d 1 who brought dem together... anyway looking forward for dis show....
