Sanjay Dutt to resume shooting for Akshay Kumar starrer Prithviraj post-Diwali!

Sanjay Dutt was recently diagnosed with stage 3 Lung Cancer. While several rumors stated that he might be jetting off to US or Singapore for his cancer treatment, the actor was admitted To Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

Amid his on-going treatment, the actor flew down to Dubai along with his wife Maanyata Dutt from their private jet. While the actor continues to be in Dubai, latest reports suggest that Sanjay is all set to complete all his projects.

His friends and family address him ‘an absolute lionheart’ and the actor certainly has lived up to his reputation as even when he is battling his health condition, a Bollywood Hungama report suggests that Dutt will be resuming shoot for the Yash Raj Films' big-budget historical Prithviraj post-Diwali.

The report also quoted a source saying, “Sanju has finished 85-90 percent of Prithviraj shoot already and he has just 5 to 6 days of shoot left. He has finished maximum portions of principle photography and he will be resuming the Prithviraj shoot immediately post Diwali. He has been a rockstar as he is finishing all his shooting commitments. The makers are planning this shoot basis this time window and will wrap up the entire film immediately.”

For the unversed, Prithviraj stars Akshay Kumar in the lead and Manushi Chhillar has been cast opposite him who will be seen playing the role of Sanyogita in this big-budget extravaganza. 

While Sanjay Dutt is battling with lung cancer, wife Maanyata Dutt who is standing beside him like a rock keeps spreading positivity and motivation on her Instagram account that are all related to him and his battle.
