Sanjay Dutt joins the Sena: Stands by Aditya Thackeray to win Maharashtra elections!

The Maharastra elections are around the corner and Bollywood celebrities are bound to make an entrance into the war-zone. Now, it seems like Bollywood has finally invaded the political frontier and its no surprise that Sanjay Dutt has been a staunch Shiv Sena follower. Dutt has backed Aaditya Thackeray, who is making his debut in electoral politics, and said he hopes that Yuva Sena leader wins by a huge margin as the country needs dynamic young leaders.

The dynamic young leader of Yuva Sena who is the elder son of Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray will be seen contesting the October 21 Maharashtra Assembly polls from Mumbai's Worli constituency.

Dutt offered his support to the 29-year-old by posting a video on Twitter and said, Aaditya Thackeray, is like "a younger brother to me".

"He comes from a fantastic lineage of Balasheb Thackerayji, who supported me and my family immensely and was like a father figure to me. I can never forget that. Uddhav bhai is the same," said the Prassthanam actor.

"I wish Aaditya all the very best. I hope he wins with a huge mandate because we need dynamic young leaders in our country. Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra," he added.

Dutt holds dear and deep bond with late Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray as he supported the actor when he was booked and arrested in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.

The young Yuva Sena Chief is the grandson of Bal Thackeray who brought Shiv Sena into existence in 1966 without any previous political background. 

Aditya will also see Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on the opposition.
