Sanjana Sanghi on doing an action genre: Couldn’t have ever imagined that I’d be able to pull that off

Sanjan Sanghi has just stepped in the industry but have given us some remarkable performences. The actress was last seen in the film Om. She made her OTT debut with 'Dil Bechara' and them made her big-screen breakthrough with 'Rashtra Kavach Om.'  

In one of her interviews, Sanjana revealed that she was always curious as to why Kapil Verma and Ahmed Khan chose her for an action film. She always asked them how they could see her as Kavya. Talking to the makers she found thay they noted her sincerety in Dil Bechara and that she has some kind of a skill. 

Talking about her experience and performing an action genre she quoted, 

"It was the coolest most unimaginable thing! Couldn’t have ever imagined that I’d be able to pull that off, it’s been such a revaluation for myself and I’m absolutely in love with the genre now, cannot wait to do a lot more. OM and my first film were poles apart, I had to approach the two with an entirely different perspective and apply very different parts of myself as an artist to create both the characters."

While the film couldn't perform at the box office, it did opened new avenues for the actress Sanjana Sanghi. 

Sanjana will next be seen in the film Dhak Dhak which is being backed by Taapsee Pannu. Along with her it also features Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ratna Pathak Shah in the key roles.
