Sanjana on working with Aditya in 'Om': was in school when she saw 'Aashiqui 2'

It is amazing how actor Sanjana Sanghi is also 25 years old but has already been in the industry for a decade actually. Sanghi made her debut as a teenager back in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Rockstar in 2011 and then appeared in another teenager role in the film, Baar Baar Dekho, five years later.

However, she became a household name and made an instant impact as she went on to debut as an adult in the film, Dil Bechara. The film broke immense records as it released on Disney+ Hotstar for the fact that is was actor Sushant Singh Rajput's last film.

Now, Sanghi has multiple films in her kitty that includes Munjha and the war epic, OM The Battle Within. Amazingly, as Sanghi co-stars Aditya Roy Kapur in the latter where they have wrapped shooting for it, it is amazing to imagine that Sanghi was in school when Roy Kapur became a rage owing to his film, Aashiqui 2 almost nine years ago.

She talked about it in a recent interaction as she said that she was very excited to work with Roy Kapur. The young actor revealed that like every other girl, when Aashiqui 2 was released, they all went crazy. She recalled being in class 9th or 10th when she watched the film.

Elaborating further, Sanghi added that it is one of those things when you are always fond of an actor and you have known them for the films that they have done, but when they become your colleagues and become such good friends, it's reassuring that they are such amazing people. And according to her, Roy Kapur is one of those. The actor added that he has been very helpful and supportive throughout this whole journey.

Spilling some beans about the movie, Sanghi stated that she has already completed her shoot and dubbing for the movie. The actress also went on to add that she has seen glimpses of the film ad she is super hyped about it.
