Sanaya's Frilly Dress Is Failing While Rubina's Quintessential Lehenga Is Nailing On Our Style Report Card This Week

Every week brings with it truck loads of style surprises, this time the classic black-and-white is seen in an entirely new avatar, the quintessential ethnic look is nailing while this season's voguest trend of frills and contemporary lehengas are failing on our fashion radar. 

So here we are at India Forums style desk, putting together and evaluating the outfits donned by some of your favourite television celebrities to present you with our weekly round up of sartorial horrors and hits. Monochrome Mania 

Following the trend of colour blocking, Adaa Khan stepped away from a regular monotone jumpsuit to opt for this black and white wrap design. An outfit choice that can be great day or night. Adaa looked as hot as her red dyed hair! She scores real big on our style report card this week.

White Washed

Posing like the diva she is, Hina sported a white knotted shirt and a pair of denim cut-offs to go with it. She had her hair tied up in a high pony and had no trace of makeup. Needless to say, Hina is a clear winner this week on our style report card.

Desi Drama

An actress who never fails with her OOTDs high on desi drama, courtesy her tv show, Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Rubina made a strong case of ethnic elegance. Extra long jhumkees, maang me sindoor, mangal sutra and a light green lehenga completed Rubina's look in the desiest way we could imagine.

Colour Bore

Joining Rubina for desi outfits is Surbhi Jyoti. Floral printed lehenga, clubbed with a sparkly silver choli and dupatta to go with it, Surbhi gives us contemporary lehenga goals. She keeps her jewellery approach minimal but hair styled in a loose wavy half-do. While everything is great about Surbhi's ethnic ensemble, we just wish it was a different colour. 

Frilly Fail

Surprise surprise, Sanaya Irani is back on our style report card but not for the right reason. While that coral colour of her dress and those popping pink strappy sandals are great, the frills of the dress around her neck makes it a fail. If we had to rate Sanaya for her makeup look and hairstyle choice, we would give her all the points we have!

Over the last seven days, while these divas were putting their best fashion foot forward, our dedicated style police was inspecting them head-to-toe. We do acknowledge it is completely human to not be at their fashionable best however when a celebrity does, it becomes our job to make a note of it in our books.
