Sana Amin Sheikh Bags Anurag Kashyap’s feature film!

Talented actress Sana Amin Sheikh who was last seen in And TV show Perfect Pati has had a vast career in TV as well as films.She has been a part of many hit shows like Kya Mast Hai Life, Tere Sheher Mein, Krishnadasi, Naamkaran and Bhootu to name a few. Sana will also be seen in singer Rahul Vaidya’s music video where she plays a Muslim girl. Now, the latest we know is that Sana has bagged an Anurag Kashyap film.

Bolywood’s ace director and producer Anurag Kashyap is known for his different style of filmmaking. His cinematic universe is usually gory and gritty and usually he uses fresh faces in his movies and series. He is all set to produce a feature film titled Bamfaad and it will be directed by debutant Ranjan Chandel. 

The story will be a passionate love story set in Allahabad. Leading lady of Telugu superhit film Arjun Reddy, Shalini Pandey has been cast as the female lead opposite Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal’s son Aditya Rawal. Sana as we know will be seen playing a Muslim girl in the film. The film was shot in Kanpur towards the end of 2018 amidst utmost secrecy and is currently in it’s post-production stage.

Sana shared a picture on her Instagram sharing that she is dubbing for the film.

In an interview, the director Ranjan Chandel shared that the movie is titled Bamfaad because it is a North-Indian slang and for an explosion and aptly describes the characters of the film and their worlds. The film has not yet got it’s release date.
