Samantha Ruth Prabhu has never followed a conventional path, whether in her career choices, personal decisions, or the rituals she embraces. Her Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru at the Linga Bhairavi abode in Coimbatore reflected a ceremony deeply rooted in intention and spiritual meaning. Among the many thoughtful details, one element quietly captured attention: her engagement ring.
Unlike typical celebrity rings, which often rely on large solitaires or classic halo designs, Samantha’s ring does not follow familiar formulas. Jewellery commentator Priyanshu Goel, who analyses celebrity accessories on Instagram, examined the ring and described it as one of the most unusual designs he has encountered. Fans were intrigued by its structure, noting that the ring’s complexity is not immediately obvious. Its modern, sculptural quality makes it resemble a wearable piece of art.
The central diamond is a lozenge-shaped portrait cut, estimated at around 2 carats. Portrait cuts focus on clarity rather than sparkle, giving the diamond a serene, smooth finish, almost like frozen glass. Surrounding it are eight smaller portrait-cut diamonds, arranged to resemble petals opening around the centre. The ring is believed to be a one-off creation, with Priyanshu estimating its value at approximately Rs 1.5 crore. Its significance lies less in price and more in its artistic and personal meaning.

Its size is balanced, not oversized or dainty, and it sits elevated enough to display its geometric form without appearing bulky. The platinum band is minimal, cool-toned, and free of decorative accents, keeping the focus on the diamond cluster. The setting communicates restraint rather than showiness, complementing the overall wedding aesthetic.
The ring was custom-made by Theodoros, known in high-jewellery circles for creating pieces that are intimate, sculptural, and considered collector-worthy. It mirrors Samantha’s own approach: distinctive, quietly confident, and impossible to categorize.
Samantha shared glimpses of the ceremony on Instagram, captioning the post with “🤍01.12.2025🤍”. Alongside images of her red saree and gold jewellery, the photos highlighted the ring exchange, giving fans a closer look at this unusual and carefully chosen piece.
