Samantha Akkineni wins Kangana’s heart with The Family Man 2 trailer; Latter says “This girl has my heart”

Actress Kangana Ranaut is an avid social media user and she is known to express her views over the topics that grab her attention or pique her interest. The Queen actress recently showered praises over actress Samantha Akkineni after watching the trailer of The Family Man 2. 

Directors Raj & DK unveiled the new dynamics of storytelling in Hindi webspace with The Family Man. The Manoj Bajpayee starrer web show is one of the most awaited series of all time owing to the end of Season 1 which ended on a crucial note.

The Family Man 2 will also see Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar and Sharib Hashmi reprising their roles from the first season. However, expanding the cast with Samantha has left the fans eagerly waiting for Season 2.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Kangana shared a screenshot from the trailer and captioned the post, “This girl has my heart.” In the screengrab, Samantha’s character is seen in a scene of the web series as the subtitle read, “I will kill them.” Samantha also shared Kangana's post with a "thank you".

Kangana’s recent social media post clearly hints at the excitement she holds for the release of The Family Man Season 2. 

On the contrary, this isn't the first time Kangana has lauded Samantha. Earlier, she called the pan-India actress an 'epitome of woman empowerment'. 

Back in March during the release of Thalaivi, Samantha too had praised Kangana, calling her the 'bravest actor of our generation', after the trailer release of Thailaivi. Samantha had tweeted, "#ThalaiviTrailer is outstanding @KanganaTeam You are the bravest, most daring and indisputably the most talented actress of our generation #Vijay sir goosebumps stuff just goosebumps stuff. Can’t wait to witness this magic in the theatre."

The Family Man season 2 marks the digital debut of star Samantha Akkineni, who will be seen essaying a pivotal part in the show’s sophomore season. The actress looks fabulous and her character looks on par with that of Manoj Bajpayee’s Srikant. 

Talking of Samantha’s role in season 2, the director duo was quoted by the Indian Express as they said, “Her (Samantha Akkineni) character will surprise everyone. She has a role with boldness and edginess in The Family Man. Samantha delivered her best in the role.”
