A few days back, Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala made an exciting announcement about their next collaboration. The duo last collaborated in 2014 with Kick, which was a blockbuster hit and made big numbers on the box office.

The movie titled 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'  marks yet another collaboration between Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman Khan. While the film, an Eid release, will be helmed by Farhad Samjhi, the story and production for the movie are by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment had shared the announcement on social media and wrote .@BeingSalmanKhan & #SajidNadiadwala come together for Eid 2021 with project Titled: KABHI EID KABHI DIWALI. To be directed by @farhad_samji @WardaNadiadwala @SKFilmsOfficial” in a tweet.

While this news had already left fans excited, here is another piece of information that will blow your mind. Reportedly, the source for the plot of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is Salman Khan’s own family. “His father is a Muslim. His mother is Hindu. Helen Aunty is a Catholic. Salman’s family is a living example of communal amity. The film’s plot will be similar. It will portray the ups and downs in a family which celebrates both Eid and Diwali with equal fervor. It will be Salman’s homage to the enduring spirit of oneness and brotherhood, a counterpoint to the currently vitiated atmosphere in the country,” revealed a source to Spotboye.

The informed source further added, “In this atmosphere of polarization and toxicity, the need of the hour is messages of harmony and peace. Cinema has been a sincere platform of secularism in our country; Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will take the cinematic experience back to the days of films like Yash Chopra’s Dharmputra and Dhool Ka Phool. It addresses the issue of Hindu-Muslim amity.”

Well, this sounds interesting! Are you excited for this Eid release?

Isn’t his mom’s name Salma?? And polygamy is illegal for Christians which means Helen also converted to a Muslim so that his father could marry her... which means this is essentially a Muslim family.
This is not an example of communal amity at all
