Salman Khan's new TV venture based on Gama Pehalwan to go on floors

Apart from films, now Salman Khan has started venturing in to television. The Bollywood superstar produced Kapil Sharma's current talk show and it is running as successful as ever. Now, Salman Khan is all set to produce a TV show based on the life of wrestler Gama Pehalwan.
The show is written and directed by Puneet Issar and will feature Sohail Khan in the titular role. Talented actor Mohammad Nazim will also be seen in the show playing Sohail's brother and the show will be shot in Punjab and London.
Now, according to media reports the makers are planning to launch the show in July and it will go on floors in April. Interestingly, the show was initially planned as a film but later the makers decided to make it as a TV show.
The series chronicles the life of great wrestler Ghulam Mohammed aka Gama Pehalwan who is considered as one of the best wrestlers of the world.
Well, it will be interesting to watch his story on the small screen.
