After a span of sixty days, Salman Khan visited his Bandra home, Galaxy apartments to meet his parents- Salim and Salma Khan. He took the necessary permissions and precautions and travelled to Mumbai from Panvel for a few hours.
Salman had arrived at his Panvel farmhouse along with sister Arpita and her husband Aayush Sharma, actors Jacqueline Fernandez, Waluscha De Sousa and Iulia Vantur, nephew Nirvaan Khan and others to discuss an upcoming project. However, due to the lockdown, they were all stranded in Panvel and could not return back home.
As per a Mumbai Mirror report, Salman followed the social distancing guidelines and dropped in at his Bandra house to check on his parents and then returned back to Panvel farmhouse.
During his stay at his lavish farmhouse, the actor had been relentlessly helping the local villagers around Panvel and carried several donation drives by distributing foodgrains, essential items and sanitizers.
Salman also featured in music videos that were produced and shot completely at his farmhouse. One song titled Pyaar Karona was sung by the actor to spread awareness about the novel virus and urge his fans to follow the guidelines. The second song Tere Bina featured Jacqueline Fernandez.
Salman has pledged to help over 3000 daily wage workers from the film industry and is taking a personal interest in assuring that the donations, money and ration are reaching the needy.
