Salman Khan to not marry till he's 72 in Bharat; watch his funny take

Salman Khan is all set to feature next in Ali Abbas Zafar's period drama Bharat, which also stars an ensemble cast including Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Sunil Grover, Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani and Jackie Shroff. As expected, the audience is keen to witness Salman and Katrina's onscreen chemistry after their last cinematic outing, Tiger Zinda Hai. While we all are aware that the film sees Salman ageing from his 20s to his 70s, but did you know that his character in Bharat doesn't get married till he's 72?

Well, Salman along with his brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan, made an appearance on Kapil Sharma's comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show, which he also produces. And the actor was once again asked when is he getting married, considering his several actors like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have recently tied the knot. While he managed to dodge the question once again, he revealed an interesting plot from his upcoming film Bharat by saying that his character only gets hitched when he's 72.

Stating that he is following the same ideology in his real life too. "Bharat film mein bhi shaadi nahi hoti till the time I am 72. Usi ko follow kar raha hun main abhi," Salman said with a smirk on his face. Watch it here:

Now, that's something that is surely going to intrigue Salman's fans and make them look forward for the film. However, we hope he ties the knot in his real life before that.

Bharat, an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean drama Ode To My Father, is jointly produced by Atul Agnihotri's Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series Films. It is slated to release on Eid 2019.
