The Bhaijaan of Bollywood, Salman Khan was one of the first celebrities to extend a helping hand yet again amid the pandemic.

Just like the last lockdown, Salman has decided to help the Bollywood workers who are left with no source of income as shootings are being stalled. He will be extending financial help to technicians, make-up artistes, stuntmen and spotboys.

Salman Khan will be crediting Rs 1500 each to 25,000 workers amid the second wave of Covid-19. Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari confirmed to ETimes and stated that they have sent a list of names of the people in need to the actor and he has agreed to deposit the money.

BN Tiwari also added that Yash Raj Films will also be taking care of 35,000 senior citizen workers. The production house will be paying Rs 5000 and a monthly ration for a family of four, reports the daily.

Recently, Salman restarted his food trucks ‘Being Haangryy' and distributed 5000 food packets to frontline workers fighting Covid-19.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan will be seen in his upcoming film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’, which is scheduled to hit the screens on the occasion of Eid on May 13, 2021.
