As the chief guest at the event, he couldn't help but express his thoughts on the current state of the film industry, particularly the astonishing box office figures that films are raking in these days.
When asked about his reaction to the recent Punjabi blockbuster "Carry On Jatta 3" crossing the 100-crore mark at the box office, Salman Khan responded with confidence saying that he believe the Rs. 100 crore mark is just the beginning. He further said, "In today's cinema landscape, films are set to achieve monumental figures of Rs. 400, 500, or even 600 crores and beyond. The Ek Tha Tiger actor further said that audiences are flocking back to theaters to experience the magic of the big screen once more. Consequently, reaching the 100-crore milestone no longer appears to be an extraordinary feat. Salman concluded saying, "In fact, I'd venture to say that the new benchmark should be a staggering Rs. 1000 crores for a film in today's cinematic climate!"
