Salman Khan refused to perform lip-lock scenes with Alia Bhatt in Inshallah!

In the midst of many rumours, a new report suggests that Salman Khan walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah due to not wanting to do intimate scenes with Alia Bhatt…

It’s been a few weeks since, Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production house announced that Inshallah has been shelved indefinitely due to creative differences. The project was not only supposed to bring Bhaijaan and SLB together after 20 years, but even Alia Bhatt would have gotten the opportunity to work with them.

Ever since the announcements, various rumours are riff stating why the big-budget and much-anticipated movie got shelved. While some reports stated that the reasons were monetary issues or creative differences, other stated that Salman Khan was not happy with the plot.

It the midst of all the rumours, many websites claimed that SLB is trying to find a new hero for his movie and names like Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have popped up a few times. Now after almost a month of such rumours, latest reports suggest that the main reason why Salman walked out of the movie is the multiple kissing scenes.

According to a report in Koimoi, the script of Inshallah needed Salman to shoot a number of lip lock scenes with Alia. The actor was not comfortable shooting such intimate scenes, and hence he asked Bhansali to remove those kissing scenes. However, the director did not agree to make the changes, and since, Salman has always refrained from doing any intimate scene, he chose to quit the movie, the report stated.

"A massive budget has been invested in the pre-production process of Inshallah. Hence, Bhansali is planning to continue with his magnum opus without Salman Khan. The filmmaker has decided to make a few changes to the script and make the project as planned. Alia will still be a part of the film but another actor will be roped in to replace Salman," The Times of India had quoted a source as saying.
