Salman Khan mourns the loss of Akshay Kumar's mother

It has been a sad day for the Bhatia household where actor Akshay Kumar aka Rajeev Bhatia lost his mother, Mrs. Aruna Bhatia as she passed away this morning.

It was only yesterday when reports were circling in about how Kumar's mother has been keeping unwell and that he flew from his shoot to be aside his ailing mother.

She, unfortunately passed away about which KUmar himself went on to inform. Following this, Kumar's actor-friend and long-time collaborator, Salman Khan went on to express his sadness and gave condolences to his family. Khan wrote, ‘Dear Akki, very sad to hear of the passing of your mother. May she rest in peace. My deepest condolences to you and your entire family .. @akshaykumar’-

Apart from Khan, an array of other celebrities like Nimrat Kaur, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ajay Devgn and many more went on to share their condolences with the actor and his family.

On the workfront, Kumar recently had a release in the form of Bell Bottom. Apart from that, Kumar has a bunch of films rolling as well in the form of Atrangi Re, Raksha Bandhan, Bachchan Pandey, Prithviraj, Ram Setu, and Oh My God! 2. Also, his mega film Sooryavanshi continues to await a release as the pandemic continues.
