Sequels of popular movies are currently trending in Bollywood as we have many upcoming sequels including Aaj Kal, Dostana 2, Bhool Bhoolaiya 2, following this trend, even Salman Khan's fans are eagerly waiting for Radhe's return on-screen. Satish Kaushik's 2003 romantic drama Tere Naam was a major hit and even after 15 years, the film has a special place in the hearts of the audience.
Recently, when Satish Kaushik was asked about its sequel the director told Mumbai Mirror that he has something on his mind. "I know the audience is waiting for it, I have something on my mind, but I haven't sounded out Salman yet. For now, it's all about Kaagaz," said Satish.
While the filmmaker is yet to approach Salman for Tere Naam 2, he has collaborated with the actor for his upcoming film Kaagaz which is also being produced by the superstar.
"The film is very close to my heart and I am grateful to Salman for supporting my vision. After Tere Naam I couldn't make another film with him, I am glad that we have collaborated on this one," added the director.
For the unversed, Tere Naam starred Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla in the lead roles. Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman was last seen in Bharat and the actor is currently busy shooting for Dabangg 3 which also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan. The film is being directed by Prabhu Deva.
