Salman Khan Gets Candid About Arhaan’s Journey After Arbaaz-Malaika’s Divorce

Salman Khan recently made his first-ever podcast appearance on his nephew Arhaan Khan’s YouTube channel, Dumb Biryani. During the candid conversation, he shared valuable advice with Arhaan and his friends. Among the many topics discussed, Salman also spoke about Arhaan’s parents, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora’s divorce. He acknowledged the impact it had on Arhaan and said, “After your mom and dad’s relationship (separation), you have to make it on your own.”

The actor briefly addressed the separation, which happened in 2017 after nearly two decades of marriage. Speaking about Arhaan, Salman noted that the young man had been through his own ups and downs. He emphasized that post-divorce, it was now up to Arhaan to create his own future and find his own way in life. Salman further advised him that one day, he would have his own family, and it was crucial to build a strong foundation for it.

Highlighting the importance of family values, Salman stressed the need to maintain traditions, such as sharing meals together. He spoke about how every family requires a respected head to uphold values and keep everyone connected. Arbaaz and Malaika had tied the knot in 1998, and their son Arhaan was born in 2002. Since their separation, both have maintained an amicable relationship for their son’s well-being.

The conversation then moved towards Arhaan’s future plans. The Sikandar actor curiously asked about his career aspirations. Arhaan’s friends revealed that he planned to open a restaurant. In a lighthearted moment, Salman questioned Arhaan about his various classes, including fighting and gymnastics. He playfully asked whether those skills were meant for running a restaurant.

As the discussion continued, Salman shared a significant life lesson. He stated that no matter how long a relationship lasts, the moment one realizes they have been betrayed, they should have the strength to walk away immediately.
