Mumbai police resorted to lathi charge in order to control the crowd outside Salman Khan's residence Galaxy.
The birthday celebrations of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan turned ugly on Tuesday as Police resorted to a lathi charge to bring the mass gathering under control. Fans usually gather in huge numbers outside Galaxy for just a glimpse of their favourite star on his birthday. But this time crowd went berserk as soon as they spotted Bhaijaan in his balcony.
Salman also took to his Instagram account and gave everyone a glimpse of all the fan-frenzy outside his house when he shared a video from his balcony. The actor stepped up in a blue tee and gave fans a quick wave and even saluted. "Thank you all…" he captioned the post.
According to viral videos and fan tweets, the large gathering grew rowdy while waiting for the actor to make his big appearance on his balcony on his birthday.
"Crowd is out of control outside Salman Bhai house Galaxy Apartment. Laathi Charge by Police #SalmanKhan abh aa bhi jao," read a tweet that shared glimpses of the large gatherings outside the actor's Bandra residence. Also a video shows few fans rushing towards the Bhaijaan's building as soon as they spot him. Many are even seen jumping over the barricade put up by the police to maintain order in the area.
Meanwhile, Salman's grand birthday was hosted at Arpita Khan's house in Bandra last night. The party was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Tabu, Kartik Aaryan, Sangeeta Bijlani, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza and others.
For the unversed, Salman shares his birthday with his niece Ayat Sharma. Arpita and Aayush Sharma hosted a pre-birthday bash for their angel recently. Last night too, Salman and Ayat cut their birthday cakes in style.
