It's safe to say that Salman Khan and controversies go hand in hand. After the Inshallah row, yet another project has started to make headlines. The film, titled Shuddhi, has been on the cards for since many years, with no confirmation yet.
The film was supposed to be helmed by Karan Johar, as it was reported to be his dream project. However, now the film seems to have slipped into the hands of Salman Khan's brother Sohail Khan.
The initial casting of Shuddhi included Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, however, the actors soon opted out of the project and Salman Khan was reportedly finalised for the project.
Shuddhi was said to be helmed by 'Brothers' director Karan Malhotra, and things were just getting concrete when Salman walked out of the project.
Amid the reports of the film getting shelved, KJo had clarified that Shuddi will definitely see the light and he may star Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt as the cast.
But, here's a twist in the story. A recent report in Pinkvilla states that not Karan Johar but Sohail Khan may be helming Shuddhi and will be casting his big brother Salman Khan in the film, who had earlier opted out of the same project.
Now, only time will tell how things turn out.
Stay tuned for more updates...
