Salman Khan can’t stop praising Katrina Kaif for her work in Bharat

Today, team Bharat unveiled a new song Zinda from the movie, at a venue in the suburbs of Western Mumbai. Present at the song launch event were Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ali Abbas Zafar, Atul Agnihotri, and Bhushan Kumar. 

During a group interview session when asked to Katrina about her supportive role, the character she played in the film and how she brought in the matter of interpretation regarding the character, the actress revealed, “I think what you said is exactly I'm doing in the film. As I said earlier, for me, I really count this as one of my best characters I've gotten a chance to play. So far it’s exactly as you said, she's support for Bharat's character so her journey continues with him in the film. 

"There was a lot of work in the character and I don’t want to reveal any details now, as I think there are some surprises you have to see for the film. There's a huge amount of work that is going on in the film. Each time and each year as you are showing ahead to get that look right, to get that time right, and just to make the character as believable as possible and left no stone unturned.”

Salman Khan interrupted Katrina’s answer saying, “In one word, yeh basically keh rahi hai ki, iinhe iis film ke liye national award milega (To sum it up Katrina is going to win the Nation Award for this film). Seriously without doubt, she’s so good and hardworking yeh toh nishchit hai iin he national award mileage! (It’s fixed that she is going to win the National Award for her role in Bharat).”

Well, looks like Salman can’t stop praising Katrina for her work. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Jackie Shroff and Tabu. The movie is slated to release on 5th June, 2019.
