Saira Banu on how she went into a shell after Dilip Kumar passed away

The entertainment industry can definitely get over the loss of the legend that was Dilip Kumar. Many continue to mourn the loss of their beloved superstar constantly and Kumar's wife, Saira Banu is obviously the most affected.

So much so that Banu has pretty much been in a shell ever since it happened. But now after all this time, she went on to have an at-length interview. Banu agreed that she has been extremely distressed and she cannot get out of it.

She added that she is anyway not an outgoing person or a party person and she doesn't want to step out. She mentioned that she wouldn't feel lost in a crowd but she definitely needs Sahab desperately in her life. She then said that she only mingles with her immediate friends and she feels lucky that people are so concerned about her. For now, she is focusing on meditation and prayers.

She concluded talking about how she knows there have been other people in similar circumstances and have come out from that phase, but perhaps my attachment was stronger. Sahab was an extraordinary man.

She also mentioned how as far as his illness was concerned, she didn't want to leave the room whatsoever in her efforts to make him alright.
