Saif Ali Khan reveals about his dream role; wishes to play Karna from Mahabharata

It has been almost 29 years since Saif Ali Khan has been in the industry as an actor. He has proven his mettle since the very first film and there is barely any role we haven’t seen him pulling off.

Currently the actor is enjoying the initial success of his film Vikram Vedha which was released on 30th September. The film also stars Hrithik Roshan and is a remake of the Tamil film with the same name.

Recently, Saif Ali Khan and the directors of the film had a chat with the media and got candid about various subjects surrounding their film and career.

India Forums went ahead and questioned Saif,

 “Now that you have been in the industry for more than 25 years, and might have accomplished or done with your share of dream roles or desired roles, what is the kind of character you wouldn’t want to play in your career?”

Talking about the same, Saif replied and said, 

“Maybe a criminal who has done a very offensive crime or something”. He further added that “there are things or roles which are not so appealing. But I don’t really think like that. I just think about what I am offered and I don’t really have a dream subject also”.

Further continuing, Saif revealed that,

 "But something I would really like to do is act in the Mahabharata, if someone makes it like the Lord Of The Rings. I’ve been talking about that with Ajay Devgn since Kachhe Dhaage, because in our generation it’s a dream subject, everybody wants to do that, be casted in it.

Bombay industry, the south or maybe both together should make this grand movie. It’s my favourite story with characters like Abhimanyu and Karna, but ya Karna is more appealing to me. And there are lot of great characters.”

Talking about Saif’s future projects, he will next be seen in the film Adipurush alongside Kriti Sanon and Prabhas.
