Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Urge Paparazzi to Respect Their Children’s Privacy Amid Security Concerns

In the wake of the shocking attack on Saif Ali Khan, the actor and his wife, Kareena Kapoor, have implemented new security measures and set clear boundaries for the paparazzi. The couple has specifically requested that their children, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan (Jeh), not be photographed.

As per a Times of India report, Kareena Kapoor’s team held a meeting with Mumbai paparazzi on Tuesday to convey the family's concerns. Saif and Kareena have also asked photographers to avoid gathering outside their residence due to security threats. However, they have made an exception for public events, allowing their pictures to be taken when they attend functions.

The heightened security measures follow the horrifying incident that took place on January 16 at Saif’s Bandra home. The actor was attacked in the early hours of the morning and sustained stab wounds to his thoracic spine and other body parts. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent spinal and plastic surgeries. After receiving treatment, Saif was discharged on January 21 and later returned home.

The assailant, identified as Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, allegedly entered Saif’s residence intending to commit theft. However, a violent confrontation ensued, resulting in the actor’s injuries. Following his return from the hospital, Saif briefly acknowledged the media stationed outside his home.

Kareena Kapoor's Plea to the Media:

Shortly after the attack, Kareena Kapoor issued an official statement urging the media and fans to respect their privacy during this difficult period.

"It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage," she stated.

She further highlighted how the constant attention was overwhelming. "While we appreciate the concern and support, the continuous scrutiny is not only exhausting but also poses a serious risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. Thank you in advance for your understanding during this sensitive time."

With security tightened around their home, the Khan family hopes to ensure a safe and private environment for themselves and their children.
