Sai Ketan Rao and I fight like real-life siblings: Sayli Salunkhe of Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali

Star Plus show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali is entertaining the viewers. The audience is in awe of the beautiful couple Raghav Rao and Pallavi Deshmukh played by Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar, respectively. The show is produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films. 

The current track of the show revolves around Lion’s grand re-entry in Raghav and Pallavi’s lives. Meanwhile, drama over Keerti and Sunny’s engagement is also building up.

India Forums got in touch with actress Sayli Salunkhe who plays the character of Raghav’s sister Keerti in the show. In a candid chat, she opened up about how she bagged the show. Siyali quipped, “Before ‘Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali’, I was doing a regional show named ‘Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kay Asta’  and as soon as I got to know that my track is coming to an end, I started giving auditions. I wasn't sure that I'll get selected, but I cracked my audition in the first attempt itself. I was really happy as I got a call from production stating "You are Keerti Rao". As this is my first Hindi show, I was very excited and happy bagging the same”.

Speaking about her bond with Sai Ketan Rao aka Raghav Rao, Sayli said, “Sai is so focused with his work that I don't see him on the sets, he is always Raghav Rao. Just like a caring brother on-screen, Sai is a caring friend too off-screen. We both keep fighting like real siblings”.

She added, “Shivangi apart from being a good actress, is an equally nice human being. She is super sweet and a caring friend”.

Talking about her on-screen love interest Sunny played by actor Kushagre, she added, “He is a good actor. We both are really good friends. My bond with Sunny on and off-screen is too good. We do the gym together, make reels, and have lots of fun. I just love working with each and every cast of our show. They all are fabulous”.

Speaking about the response on the show, Sayli said, “Show is performing good, touchwood. People are loving my personality, my bond with Amma, Raghav, Pallavi, and Sunny as well. The show is unique, in terms of cast and story and that's why people are hooked on this.  I just hope people keep showering their love to our show”.
