Sadiya Siddiqui Joins The Cast of NRILIFE Productions’ ‘Grey Stories’

As we exclusively reported, Producer Gunjan Kuthiala is coming up a web series titled Grey Stories under her banner ‘NRILIFE Productions. The series is an anthology of unique stories with an arsenal of characters. Renowned actors like Hiten Tejwani, Bhagyashree Patwardhan, Jugal Hansraj, Samir Soni, Aditi Govitrikar, Kiku Sharda are already part of the show. Now, the latest to join the cast is actress Sadiya Siddiqui.

Sadiya who is known for her roles in shows like Balika Vadhu and Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji has shot for the fourth episode of the series. The story will also feature actor and comedian, Gaurav Gera.

Speaking to India Forums, Sadiya revealed a few interesting details about the series and its storyline. “Grey Stories is basically stories about people living abroad and the kind of issues they face in their marital life. My story was totally different, it doesn’t have to be people living abroad that story can happen to people living here also. The husband doesn’t have much time for the wife because he is in another country and, he has to work extra. So, the wife feels neglected,” she said.

The actress also shared her experience of working with Gunjan and her team. “It was very nice working with the team. In fact, Gunjan as a producer is a very sweet and caring person. She is a good producer, it was really fun working with her. When she called me, I wasn’t very sure whether I should do it or not. Because if you don’t know a person then you are not sure about going so far and how things would work but it turned out to be good. Basically, what she says, she does that."
