Rubina Dilaik Denies Playing The Lead Role in 'Jaag Janani - Maa Vaishno Devi'

It came across as a surprise when recently we came across reports about how actor Rubina Dilaik has been finalised to play the lead role in Jag Jaanaani Maa Vaishno Devi - Kahani mata Rani Ki. As we know, there also were reports about how actor Puja Banerjee, who played the lead role in the show quit the same stating that she is taking a break after her recent marriage with Kunal Verma in April.

While Dilaik, as we know played the lead role in Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii for three years and hasn't starred in any show ever since quitting.

In an exclusive reply to ETimes TV, Dilaik has finally responded to the news saying that it isn't true and that she is not doing the show.

The makers have already begun their hunt to find a replacement for Puja Banerjee. Rumor has it that amongst the list of the actors Sonarika Bhadoria, Tejaswi Prakash, Shrenu Parikh and Niyati Fatnani are the few names that have been shortlisted until now.
