Roshni Sahota on wanting to play lead roles after 'Patiala Babes'

Actor Roshni Sahota has now been on the tube for a while but she continues to be best remembered for her role in Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii. But after appearing in multiple shows and having last seen in Patiala Babes in 2018, the actor recently went on to talk about why has she been missing from the small screen and how she is only looking to play lead roles.

She said that after Patiala Babes, she was sure that she only wants to play lead roles on TV or in films. She added that she has indeed played parallel lead roles, the story always used to revolve around the lead and they would get the love and appreciation from the audience. She was, in fact, almost finalised for two shows as a lead but at the last minute, things did not work out.

Further talking about her film debut, Sahota said that she had gotten a message on Instagram about this film and she, like many, thought it is a fake message because actors always get such messages. Later, she came to know it was a genuine message and she was thankful to the team as they tried to contact and reach her. She then auditioned, gave look test and they have now completed the shoot of of the film, O Kala.

She concluded saying that she wants to do well in the Telugu film industry. She is focusing on films and while she doesn't mind doing a lead role on TV, it has to be according to her requirements.
