'Roop' gets an EXTENSION; will it have one last HURRAH?

Colors' Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop has certainly had a pretty decent run in the past full year but it has been the past few months that haven't been too good for the show. With constantly dipping numbers, the show was under the scanner for a while until it was finally confirmed that the show will be pulled off-air.

The fans of the show were indeed saddened to hear about this but the show isn't entirely over and it may just have its one last hurrah. According to latest reports, the show has received a 15-day extension for now. Even though the current off-air date for the show continues to be 17th May but it may be pushed to the end of May too. Nevertheless, this extension is certainly a little moment of bliss for the fans and the cast and crew associated with the show.

The Indian Premier League ends in the next 10 days and the World Cup will begin in the first week of June. The new show that is scheduled to replace Roop is being planned strategically and will soon receive an on-air date too. However, does this small extension mean there is a chance that the show stays around longer? We can only wait and see.
