Rohan Gandotra to Romance Aparna Dixit in Ekta Kapoor’s Upcoming Detective Series!

Soap queen Ekta Kapoor’s ongoing shows ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, ‘Kundali Bhagya’, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ among others, are one of the most loved and successful shows on TV. As reported earlier, Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring a detective series on TV in which ‘Kalash’ fame Aparna Dixit is expected to play the female lead. Reportedly, the makers are in talks with Rohan Gandotra to play the male lead in the upcoming show. Both the actors are in advanced talks with the makers.

According to a leading daily, both Rohan and Aparna will play detectives and will be seen solving cases in the upcoming series.

Speaking about the same, a source told TOI that, “The show is tentatively titled ‘Aa DekheZara’. Aparna and Rohan fit the bill of the characters perfectly. Looking at the way things have shaped up so far, we are hoping to close deals with both the actors really soon. The show is expected to go on floors some time next week.”

Rohan Gandotra is yet to react on the same.

On the career front, Rohan Gandotra made his TV debut with Ashutosh Gowariker’s Star Plus show ‘Everest’ and later went on to feature in various popular shows like ‘Kaala Teeka’, ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’, ‘Qubool Hai’, ‘Naagin 2’ among others. He is currently seen playing the role of ‘Veer’ in ‘Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka-Season 2'. ‘Silsila 2’, currently streaming on popular OTT platform Voot, is set to go off-air soon.
